Libby Ellis is an award-winning designer and author of many books, including Very Veggie Christmas and Buenos Dias Baby!, which was named a  Top 10 Best Books for Babies in 2005. Her fine art wall decor for children are customer favorites at Land of Nod, and a recently released collection of  her note cards licensed to Great Arrow Graphics is a bestseller at Whole Foods in New York City and greater New England stores.

Transferring from Scripps College, Libby graduated UC Berkeley, where she received the
Eisner Award for excellence in Photography. She pursued graduate studies in Economic Geography (yes!) at UC Berkeley, Design at Radcliffe College and Book Arts at Mills College. Prior to freelancing, Libby was a creative director in Marin County and New York City.

Libby’s fine art as been shown nationally, including the Eric Carle Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco Mission Cultural Center, Intersection for the Arts, SF Film Arts Foundation, Works/San Jose,  Arthur Ross Gallery, CalArts Studio Gallery, and the Prieto Gallery.
